Jeff and Iain teamed up in the spring of 2003 and started
appearing as Keepers Fold around the Skipton, Otley areas and in numerous venues in the Yorkshire Dales.
Traditional Folk music is a shared passion along with walking. October 2003 saw them, together with Jeff's wife Sally, flying off to Boston USA to visit family, play music and walk some of the Appalachian trail. The ‘Rustic Charmer’ and the ‘Miserable Mandolin Player’ as they are affectionately known to their friends are taking the scene by storm with their wide repertoire of songs, gathered from all corners of the folk world. Their first CD “Time to Go” is still available and features 18 tracks of good rousing Traditional Folk music. May 2005 the lads were off to Canada and the USA for their second tour across the pond. The highlight of 2006 was a very succesful tour of Nova Scotia. Their second CD is now available and features 15 tracks recorded live at The Victoria Theatre, Settle in May 2007 |
