An Apology

Due to various mishaps and vehicle problems, I was unable to attend the Trafalgar weekend, please accept my humble apology, I am told from a number of people what a wonderful time was had by all. To all you budding mandolin players who were looking forward to the workshop, again please accept my apology.

Unfortunately I shall not be able to attend the session at Giggleswick this coming Friday (7th Nov) as I shall be recovering from surgery on my right knee.

I shall however be at the Settle 3 Peaks Folk Club on the 22nd November as I hope to be fully mobile again both physically and I now have a backup car to get me about.

Just a note to let you know there will be an impromptu session at the Otterington Shorthorn, South Otterington near Northallerton on the 28th November this is not a gig but a gathering from about 8.30pm all are welcome, it's not the biggest of pubs but the atmosphere is usually excellent (the beers not bad either).

In 2009 as a lot of you know Jeff and Sally will be away on their grand tour of Europe, so listings on the Gigs page from the beginning of June through to the end of September will be only one half of Keepers Fold, hopefully with a little help from some friends.

I would like to finish this little bulletin by saying a big thank you for all the support and help so many of you have given over the last few years and look forward to it continuing in the future.

Best wishes

Iain
